Who can take part
- You must have abnormal blood vessels under your retina (called choroidal neovascularization) caused by either central serous chorioretinopathy or age-related macular degeneration.
- You should not have had an eye injection in the last 3 months.
- You cannot have other serious health problems like diabetes, kidney failure, inflammatory disease, or certain infections (HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis).
- You cannot be pregnant.
- If you don't have abnormal blood vessels, you must be having eye surgery (for cataracts or a vitrectomy) to join the other group.
