Who can take part

  • Be an adult (18 or older).
  • Have a bone defect larger than 5 centimeters caused by injury (trauma) or tumor removal.
  • Have health insurance (the study includes all sexes).
  • Be able and willing to undergo surgery.
  • Not have a medical reason that makes surgery unsafe for you.
  • Have no local infection and no missing/poor-quality soft tissue at the defect site.
