Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with lumbar spinal stenosis (narrowing that can press on nerves).
- Your planned surgery levels are L4 to S1 (L4-S1 are the spine segments to be operated on).
- You tried non-surgery treatments for at least 8 weeks, but they did not help enough.
- You do not have an unstable problem at L3/4 (for example, slipping, twisting/rotation, or abnormal side-bending).
- Your spine alignment before surgery is not significantly imbalanced from side to side or front to back.
- You do not have a spine infection or a tumor in the lumbar area, and you have not had a prior lumbar fusion surgery.
