Omega-3 supplements to lower diabetes risk in at-risk adults

Who can take part

  • Be a man or a post-menopausal woman, age 45 to 74
  • Have a BMI between 25 and 40
  • Confirm menopause (FSH blood test of at least 30 U/L)
  • Be a non-smoker and get less than 2 hours of structured exercise per week
  • Drink less than 2 alcoholic drinks per day
