Pre-surgery exercise and care program for limb sarcoma

Sarcoma

Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Cancer clinical trials.

This Phase 2 trial tests a “prehabilitation” program done before surgery to help people with arm or leg (limb) sarcoma be better prepared for their operation. It may help improve how well patients tolerate treatment and recover by planning supportive care around the weeks before surgery.

Testing a new radiation method before sarcoma surgery

Extra chemotherapy around surgery for high-risk soft-tissue sarcoma

This trial tests whether giving stronger chemotherapy before and/or after surgery helps people with high-risk, resectable soft-tissue sarcoma. It aims to lower the chance the cancer comes back by improving treatment around the time of the operation.

Study of tumor markers to predict chemotherapy benefit in sarcoma

This study looks at stored tumor tissue (or takes a new biopsy) to measure specific tumor markers. Researchers want to see whether these markers match how well chemotherapy works before surgery for soft-tissue sarcoma.
