Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older, and your brain cancer has come back (recurrent malignant glioma).
- Your tumor type must be confirmed by pathology as WHO grade 3 or 4 malignant glioma.
- You must be able to get a brain MRI with and without contrast.
- Your body must be strong enough for procedures: KPS score of 70 or higher (a functional ability score).
- Blood tests before biopsy must be within limits (enough hemoglobin, platelets, neutrophils, and acceptable kidney/liver/clotting results).
- You must be able to have the tumor device put in if you are in the device-implant subgroup (your neurosurgeon must say it’s possible).
