Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have newly diagnosed GBM (a grade 4 brain tumor) with specific lab findings (IDH wildtype and MGMT unmethylated) and a small, measurable leftover tumor area that is suitable for catheter placement.
- You finished standard treatment: radiation plus temozolomide (TMZ) and then 2 cycles of TMZ after radiation.
- You feel well enough for procedures (Karnofsky performance score above 70%) and can get brain MRI with and without contrast.
- Blood tests are strong enough for surgery and healing (hemoglobin, neutrophils, platelets, kidney and liver tests within required ranges; and blood clotting tests within required limits).
