Who can take part
- You are female and between 18 and 70 years old
- Your breast cancer is HER2-negative, and you have a tumor bigger than 2 cm
- Your cancer is stage IIA to IIIA, and it has not spread to other organs
- You have enough strength/ability to function (ECOG 0 or 1)
- Your heart, bone marrow, liver, and kidneys all meet lab/scan thresholds
- You have not had chemotherapy, radiation, or hormone therapy before starting this study
