Who can take part

  • You are female and between 18 and 70 years old
  • Your breast cancer is HER2-negative, and you have a tumor bigger than 2 cm
  • Your cancer is stage IIA to IIIA, and it has not spread to other organs
  • You have enough strength/ability to function (ECOG 0 or 1)
  • Your heart, bone marrow, liver, and kidneys all meet lab/scan thresholds
  • You have not had chemotherapy, radiation, or hormone therapy before starting this study
