Who can take part

  • You have multiple myeloma that is newly diagnosed, or has come back (relapsed) or not responded (refractory)
  • Your myeloma must be “high-risk” by specific lab/genetic findings (for example, certain chromosome changes) or certain disease history/types
  • You must have an eligible donor for a stem cell transplant (matched related or unrelated donor), or a specific matching pattern if not
  • You must plan to receive the radioactive antibody within 40 to 180 days after your autologous transplant (your own stem cells)
  • Your body functions must be strong enough for treatment: kidney, liver, and heart/lung measurements within required limits
