Who can take part
- You must have advanced cancer that has not responded to standard treatments, or ovarian cancer that has stopped responding to platinum chemotherapy.
- Your tumor must have a certain level of HER2 protein or gene changes, confirmed by a lab test.
- You must have had at least one previous line of chemotherapy, but you can have had many more.
- You must be 18 years or older and have a good performance status (able to care for yourself).
- You need to have a tumor sample (biopsy or archival tissue) available for testing.
- Your organ function (blood counts, liver, kidneys, heart) must be within acceptable limits.
- You must not have had certain treatments recently (like chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery) within 4 weeks, and no active lung disease or severe heart problems.
- If you are of childbearing potential, you must agree to use highly effective contraception during and after the study.
