Tested deep vs shallow sound settings in cochlear implants

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and speak French
  • You are eligible to receive a cochlear implant
  • Your implant surgery placed the apical electrode insertion angle at more than 450°
  • On the day your implant is activated, you have 12 active electrodes
  • You do not have certain inner-ear or nerve disorders such as auditory neuropathy or a vestibular schwannoma
