Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and speak French
- You are eligible to receive a cochlear implant
- Your implant surgery placed the apical electrode insertion angle at more than 450°
- On the day your implant is activated, you have 12 active electrodes
- You do not have certain inner-ear or nerve disorders such as auditory neuropathy or a vestibular schwannoma
