Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You speak French
  • You are a candidate for cochlear implantation
  • You do not have a nerve/brain-side cause of hearing loss (like auditory neuropathy or vestibular schwannoma)
  • Your other ear has enough residual hearing: at 500 Hz and 1000 Hz it must be 70 dB HL or better
