Who can take part
- You are an adult (over 18 years old).
- You had a cardiac arrest and your heart was restarted (ROSC) and you were admitted to the ICU.
- Within 24 hours after ROSC, you have ongoing low blood pressure despite fluids, and you need a continuous IV blood-pressure medicine (norepinephrine or epinephrine) for at least 3 hours.
- The IV norepinephrine starting point is no more than 9 hours before the study starts.
- There is no clear traumatic or brain/nervous system cause for the cardiac arrest.
- You have not taken steroid medicines recently, and you are not currently on ongoing steroid treatment.
