Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older.
- You have a neck problem between the C3 and C7 vertebrae that needs an anterior (front-of-neck) decompression surgery.
- Your symptoms include nerve/arm pain (radiculopathy), spinal cord symptoms (myelopathy), or both.
- If your main issue is nerve pain only, it has not improved after at least 6 weeks of non-surgery treatments.
- Your problem is not from a recent injury/trauma.
- You have not had prior front-neck (ventral) surgery, neck radiation, or an active infection in the neck spine.
