Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older.
  • You have a neck problem between the C3 and C7 vertebrae that needs an anterior (front-of-neck) decompression surgery.
  • Your symptoms include nerve/arm pain (radiculopathy), spinal cord symptoms (myelopathy), or both.
  • If your main issue is nerve pain only, it has not improved after at least 6 weeks of non-surgery treatments.
  • Your problem is not from a recent injury/trauma.
  • You have not had prior front-neck (ventral) surgery, neck radiation, or an active infection in the neck spine.
