Who can take part
- You are between 22 and 75 years old when you enroll.
- Your neck problem affects the nerve pathways from C3 to C7, with symptoms like pain into the arm, numbness/tingling, weak muscles, abnormal reflexes, or even paralysis.
- Your symptoms happen in one or two touching neck levels (not more than two).
- Imaging (X-ray/CT/MRI) shows disc or joint degeneration at the level causing your symptoms.
- You’ve tried non-surgical treatments for about 6 weeks and they didn’t help, or your symptoms are getting worse.
- You have no prior surgery at the involved levels, and you are cleared for an “anterior” (front-of-neck) surgical approach.
