Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and have been diagnosed with asthma by prior testing or documented evidence.
  • Your asthma treatment is currently at GINA step 4 or step 5 (the more intensive treatment levels).
  • You do not have other lung diseases such as COPD, bronchiectasis, prior TB that damaged lung tissue, past lung removal surgery, or lung cancer.
  • If you are older than 40, you have not smoked more than 10 pack-years.
  • You are not currently pregnant.
