Who can take part

  • Be between 21 and 30 years old
  • Be generally healthy, without a recent serious illness
  • Be able to read consent forms and follow study instructions
  • Use e-cigarettes for more than 6 months with under 5 “pack-years,” or be a non-smoker with under 5 “pack-years”
  • Have no lung disease and normal breathing test results at screening
  • Be able to safely do an MRI scan (and not be pregnant)
