Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
  • You do not use oxygen continuously at home.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You can lie still for about 10–15 seconds and are not claustrophobic.
  • You have no metal implants or devices (like pacemakers) that are unsafe for MRI.
