Who can take part

  • You can understand the study, agree to take part, and attend follow-up visits
  • You have a CRT device (or are getting one/it is being upgraded) with an atrial lead in place
  • Your ECG shows a wide QRS (more than 120 ms), and your heart’s pumping is reduced (EF 35% or less) with heart failure symptoms
  • At least 3 months after the CRT procedure, your biventricular pacing is under 95% mainly because of atrial fibrillation
  • A doctor recommends AV node ablation as part of your care
  • You are expected to live at least 1 year (not less than 1 year)
