Who can take part
- You are a woman age 18 or older and can sign consent
- Your breast cancer is either triple-negative or ER-positive and Her2-negative
- Your cancer has returned or spread (metastatic or recurrent)
- You are well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0–1), and have recent lab results showing your organs work well enough
- You have at least one spot doctors can measure on scans that will not be the main radiation target
- You can have (or already have) a tumor tissue sample for testing, and you have a treatment plan that includes palliative radiation to at least one site
