Who can take part

  • You have newly diagnosed APL with a specific gene change, or AML with a related RARA gene change
  • You can follow all study visits, tests, and treatment rules
  • You can and will sign informed consent (choose to join after learning about the study)
  • Your overall health/function is not too limited (ECOG score 2 or less)
  • Your heart, liver, and kidney tests meet safety cutoffs (heart rhythm, liver enzymes/bilirubin, and kidney filtration)
  • If you can become pregnant: you must not be pregnant or breastfeeding before starting
