Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Your liver tests show elevated AST (at least 20 IU/L).
  • FibroScan results must be high (liver stiffness at least 8.5 kPa).
  • NASH must be confirmed by liver biopsy, with specific biopsy scoring (NAS 4 or higher).
  • Your liver scarring must be early to moderate (stage 1–3).
  • Your blood work and metabolism must fit specific targets (albumin, INR, bilirubin, and blood counts), and you must meet at least 2 metabolic syndrome criteria.
