Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old and Chinese
  • You have NAFLD with a liver fat level of at least 10% on an MRI scan
  • You have at least one metabolic risk factor like being overweight, having high blood sugar, high blood pressure, or abnormal blood fats
  • Your weight has been stable (no more than 5% change) in the last 6 weeks
  • You agree to use effective birth control during the trial and for 3 months after
  • You do not have cirrhosis, other liver diseases, or certain other serious health conditions
