- You are male and 18 years or older.
- You have high-risk prostate cancer that has not spread to lymph nodes or other organs.
- You have not had any previous treatment for your prostate cancer, like surgery or radiation.
- You are able to undergo a PET/CT scan and an MRI of the pelvis to confirm the cancer hasn't spread.
- You have a normal testosterone level before starting hormone therapy.
