Who can take part
- You have corneal thinning/steepening in the center or lower part of your cornea
- Your eye tests suggest keratoconus, post-surgery cornea bulging (ectasia), or pellucid marginal degeneration
- One or more signs on your eye exam must fit this condition (examples: abnormal corneal ring/lines, uneven apex, special retest reflex pattern, scarring from breaks in the cornea)
- Your cornea measurements must meet minimum thickness/shape thresholds (including very thin spots and/or steep curvature)
- If you wear contacts, you must stop them long enough before screening (time depends on lens type)
