Who can take part

  • You have liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) in the liver that can be measured and can’t be treated with standard options or those options already didn’t work
  • Your hepatitis B test shows HBsAg positive
  • Your liver scarring is not severe: you have no cirrhosis, or “compensated” cirrhosis (Child-Pugh A only)
  • Your general health is fairly good (ECOG 0 to 1) and you have at least 3 months of expected survival
  • Your blood type markers fit the needed T-cell targeting pattern (HLA class 1 matching, specifically HLA-A*02:01 or HLA-A*24:02)
  • You cannot have certain recent treatments, medicines, or infections that could interfere with the study or make side effects more likely
