Study T-cell therapy for advanced liver cancer

Hepatocellular CarcinomaLiver Cancer, AdultLiver NeoplasmMetastatic Liver Cancer

Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.

This trial tests a custom immune-cell treatment made to target a marker (GPC3) found on some liver cancers. It’s for adults with advanced HCC whose cancer has worsened after standard treatment or who couldn’t tolerate it.

Who can take part

  • You have confirmed advanced HCC (unresectable, recurring, and/or metastatic).
  • Your tumor must test positive for GPC3 on tissue testing; the exact cutoff depends on the study phase.
  • You’ve already had at least one standard (first-line) medicine for HCC and your cancer progressed or you couldn’t tolerate it.
  • Your overall health score is good (ECOG 0 to 1) and you’re expected to live at least 4 months.
  • Your liver function is fairly well preserved (Child-Pugh A6 or better) and your organs are strong enough for study treatment.
  • You must have at least one measurable tumor spot on scans.

Testing donor-like immune T cells for children with liver cancer

This Phase 1/2 trial tests an immune-cell treatment (ET140203 T cells) in children and teens with certain liver cancers that have come back or did not respond to standard treatment. It aims to see whether these T cells can shrink tumors and is mainly focused on safety and early effectiveness.

Immune cell therapy for liver cancer

This trial tests using your own immune cells (tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes) to fight advanced liver cancer. It may help if you have Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) stage B or C and your liver function is still fairly good.

CAR T therapy for advanced liver cancer with GPC3

This Phase 1 study tests a personalized immune-cell treatment (CAR T cells) for advanced liver cancer that has the GPC3 protein. It aims to see whether these engineered cells can find and kill cancer cells safely and help shrink the cancer.

CAR T-cell therapy for liver cancer that has GPC3

This early-phase study tests modified immune T cells (CAR T cells) to treat hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), a type of liver cancer, when the tumor shows a marker called GPC3. It may help shrink tumors or slow cancer growth, especially after other treatments have stopped working.

GPC3-targeted CAR-T for advanced liver cancer

This trial tests a custom immune-cell treatment (CAR-T) that targets a marker called GPC3 in people with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer). It’s for cases where standard treatments have not worked well, and the goal is to shrink tumors and improve outcomes.
