Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with liver cancer (HCC).
  • Your cancer cannot be removed by surgery or local treatments, or has gotten worse despite those treatments.
  • You have already tried at least one systemic cancer medicine (like a pill or infusion) that hasn't worked.
  • You are generally active and able to take care of yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You test positive for hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg).
  • You have well-preserved liver function (Child-Pugh score A, meaning your liver is working fairly well).
  • Your immune system has a specific genetic type (HLA-A*02:01 or HLA-A*24:02), which will be checked with a blood test.
