Drug-screening guided treatment before surgery for HER2 breast cancer

HER2-positive Early Breast Cancer

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This trial tests a treatment plan that is chosen using drug-testing in a lab (to see which medicines may work best) before surgery. It is for people with early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer, aiming to improve outcomes by guiding the right treatment early.

Personalized pre-surgery treatment for HER2-negative early breast cancer

This study tests a treatment plan chosen using lab drug testing on a patient’s tumor (in a dish). It may help improve outcomes for people with early breast cancer that is HER2-negative by matching therapy to what the tumor seems sensitive to.

NCT04281641Recruiting
Testing marker-guided treatment before surgery for HER2-positive breast cancer

This trial studies how well a HER2-focused treatment plan works before surgery (“neoadjuvant” therapy) for operable HER2-positive breast cancer. It also uses tumor tissue tests to find markers that may predict who benefits most.

Optimizing treatment before surgery for HER2-positive breast cancer

This trial tests a neoadjuvant (before surgery) treatment plan for people with early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer. The goal is to see if a personalized approach can improve outcomes.

NCT06483386Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
Targeted therapy before surgery for HER2-positive breast cancer

This trial tests a combination of two targeted drugs (pyrotinib and trastuzumab) plus chemotherapy (capecitabine) given before surgery to shrink HER2-positive breast cancer. The goal is to see if this treatment can make the cancer disappear before surgery.

NCT06162559Recruiting· Phase 1
Targeted therapy before surgery for HER2+ breast cancer

This trial tests a combination of three targeted drugs (trastuzumab, pertuzumab, and tucatinib) without chemotherapy before surgery for HER2-positive breast cancer. It aims to see if this approach can shrink tumors effectively while avoiding chemotherapy side effects.

NCT06832904Recruiting· Phase 2
Chemo plus two targeted drugs before surgery for HER2+ breast cancer

This trial tests whether giving a combination of two targeted drugs (pyrotinib and trastuzumab) along with standard chemotherapy before surgery can work better for HER2-positive breast cancer. It is for women whose cancer has not spread to distant organs and who have not yet had treatment for their cancer.
