Testing marker-guided treatment before surgery for HER2-positive breast cancer

HER2-positive Breast Cancer

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This trial studies how well a HER2-focused treatment plan works before surgery (“neoadjuvant” therapy) for operable HER2-positive breast cancer. It also uses tumor tissue tests to find markers that may predict who benefits most.

  • Your main breast tumor is larger than 2 cm
  • You are between 18 and 69 years old, and your day-to-day function is fairly good
  • Your heart scan shows strong pumping function (left ventricular ejection fraction at least 55%)

Comparing two treatment approaches for HER2-positive breast cancer before surgery

This study tests two ways to treat HER2-positive breast cancer before surgery: one uses a single drug (SHR-A1811), and the other uses that drug followed by a combination (THPy). The goal is to see which approach works better at shrinking tumors before surgery.

New Drug Treatment Before Surgery for HER2-Positive Breast Cancer

This trial tests a new drug called trastuzumab rezetecan given before surgery for early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer. It's designed for patients whose cancer doesn't respond well to standard HER2-targeted treatments.

Personalized pre-surgery treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer

This trial tests a personalized treatment plan for HER2-positive breast cancer before surgery. The treatment is adjusted based on how your cancer responds, aiming to give you the best possible outcome.

NCT06441890Recruiting· Phase 2
Personalized chemo before breast cancer surgery

This trial tests whether giving chemotherapy before surgery, guided by the genetic profile of your tumor, can improve outcomes for a specific type of HER2-positive breast cancer. It aims to tailor treatment to each person's cancer biology.

Study of two targeted therapies before surgery for HER2+ breast cancer

This trial tests a combination of two drugs, trastuzumab deruxtecan (SHR-A1811) and pertuzumab, given before surgery to shrink HER2-positive breast cancer. It is for women with stage II or III breast cancer who have not yet had treatment and are in good overall health.
