Who can take part
- You are newly diagnosed with operable (not spread) breast cancer and have never had treatment for invasive cancer
- Your main breast tumor is larger than 2 cm
- You are between 18 and 69 years old, and your day-to-day function is fairly good
- Your heart scan shows strong pumping function (left ventricular ejection fraction at least 55%)
- You must have tumor samples available and agree to extra needle biopsy testing (genetic testing and drug-sensitivity testing)
- Your cancer must be HER2-positive, and hormone receptors (ER and PgR) must have been checked
