Who can take part
- You had a stroke at least 6 months ago and your health is stable right now
- Your stroke affected one side of the body (one stroke event total)
- You have some measurable arm/hand stiffness (finger flexor tightness)
- You do NOT have significant vision neglect or problems, hearing problems, or major thinking/memory problems
- You do NOT have certain lung conditions (like asthma or COPD), and you are not on medication changes aimed at muscle tone right now
- You have not had botulinum toxin in the arm/fingers in the last 4 months, or phenol injections in the last 2 years
- You do not have a pacemaker, and you are not pregnant
