Who can take part
- You agree to join and sign the consent form
- You’re an adult (not pregnant and not breastfeeding)
- You’re trying to reduce drinking (not fully abstinent for more than 5 days)
- You’ve tried to stop or cut down before, but had relapse or didn’t succeed
- Your alcohol withdrawal symptoms are not too severe at the start
- You can take part for 6 months, including completing drinking diary and follow-up visits
