Lenvatinib plus PD-1 antibody for advanced lung cancer

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

This Phase 2 study tests whether a combination of lenvatinib and a PD-1/PD-L1–blocking antibody (IBI318) can shrink advanced non-small cell lung cancer and is safe to use. Who can take part

  • You must be 18 to 75 years old and agree to sign informed consent before any study tests.
  • You must have non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is locally advanced (stage IIIB–IIIC) or metastatic (stage IV), not small cell lung cancer.
  • Your tumor situation must match one of the study groups: (A) no EGFR/ALK/ROS1 gene changes and cancer returned after prior PD-1/PD-L1 therapy, (B) EGFR-sensitive mutation and/or ALK fusion with progression after the right targeted pills, or (C) not eligible for curative surgery/radiation and PD-L1 is low (TPS <1%).
  • You must be able to show at least one measurable tumor spot on a scan, and brain metastases are allowed only if they’re stable after local treatment and you have measurable disease outside the brain.
  • Your general health must be strong enough for study drug treatment (good activity level ECOG 0–1, enough blood counts and organ function, and survival expected over 3 months).
