Who can take part

  • You have epilepsy and are currently an inpatient.
  • You are between 12 and 65 years old.
  • You are undergoing continuous EEG monitoring, including implanted hippocampal electrodes.
  • You can speak and understand English well enough to follow instructions.
  • You can do a finger-tapping task (or your body allows you to tap as instructed).
  • You can understand the study and give consent (or, if 12–17, assent with a guardian).
