Brain stimulation study during epilepsy surgery evaluation

  • You are scheduled to have depth electrodes placed (sEEG) for epilepsy surgery planning
  • The electrode placement plan includes the amygdala and the inner (medial) prefrontal brain area
  • You can understand simple instructions and do simple tasks during the study
  • You are able to understand the written consent form and sign it
  • You do not have a reason you cannot complete the study tasks
