Testing anti-HER2 treatment for HER2-enriched early breast cancer

Who can take part

  • You have breast cancer that cannot be fully removed (unresectable) or has spread, but there is no confirmed distant metastasis on scans/biopsy
  • Your cancer must be HER2-negative by lab testing (either IHC 1+ without ISH, or IHC 2+ with ISH showing negative results)
  • You must have never received systemic (whole-body) treatment for stage II–III breast cancer
  • You must be over 19 years old and be able to do study visits (ECOG 0–1, meaning fully active or limited but ambulatory)
  • Your blood, kidney, liver, and heart tests must meet safety thresholds (including heart pumping strength with LVEF ≥ 50%)
  • A tissue test must confirm your subtype is “HER2-enriched” by PAM50, and you must have available archived slides (FFPE slides)
