Who can take part

  • You must agree to the study and (if in the U.S.) allow the team to get your medical records.
  • Your performance status must be 0 or 1, meaning you’re able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation.
  • You had a lumpectomy (not mastectomy) and your surgical margins must be free of invasive cancer and DCIS on the final pathology report.
  • Your cancer must be on one side only, with staging showing pT1 (2 cm or smaller) and pN0 nodes (no node cancer).
  • Your tumor must be estrogen-positive and/or progesterone-positive, and HER2-negative.
  • Your Oncotype DX Recurrence Score must be 18 or less (and you should not start endocrine therapy before the tissue sample).
