Who can take part

  • You are 65 years or older when you sign consent
  • You have severe narrowing of the aortic valve (aortic stenosis) with symptoms
  • You are considered intermediate or high risk for open-heart valve surgery
  • Your heart ultrasound (or stress ultrasound) shows severe valve blockage, and heart scans fit the device size
  • Your leg/groin blood vessels are suitable for a catheter procedure through the thigh
  • You can sign consent and agree to return for all follow-up visits
