Who can take part
- You can sign informed consent and understand what the study involves.
- You’re able and willing to come to follow-up visits and complete study questionnaires.
- Your DVT symptoms started within the last 14 days, in the study leg thigh/behind-knee veins.
- After the procedure, you will take blood thinners for at least 12 months (with a specific heparin plan) and may need an antiplatelet medicine too.
- The clot-removal procedure must successfully reopen the vein (at least less than 30% blockage left from the clot).
