- You are 18 years old or older
- You have had a clinical isolated syndrome (CIS), with or without signs spreading in MRI/space
- You can provide blood for genetic testing and you agree to genetic analyses
- Your blood sample must not be taken while you are on immunosuppressing medicine
- You have not had plasma exchange or steroid treatment in the last 4 weeks
- You are not pregnant
