Who can take part
- You agree to sign informed consent (paper or electronically).
- You are 18 to 90 years old.
- You see a participating primary care clinic at least once in the last 3 years.
- Your gout diagnosis fits standard criteria, and your score is high enough (at least 8).
- You have had at least one gout flare in the last 12 months and your recent urate level is at least 6.0 mg/dL.
- You can swallow pills and you follow birth control rules if you could become pregnant.
