- Be between 8 and 21 years old
- Have high LDL (“bad”) cholesterol above 130 mg/dL
- Have the specific SLCO1B1 genetic type called c.521TT
- Be willing to do an overnight fast of about 8 hours before visits
- Join the Cardiology Pharmacogenomic Repository
- Be able to have MRI scans (no unsafe metal, and you can fit comfortably)
