Who can take part
- Be 17 years or older
- Come for study care within 12 hours after carbon monoxide poisoning
- You are not pregnant
- You did not receive oxygen treatment before arriving
- You have not been poisoned by carbon monoxide again within the past year
- You do not have certain conditions (Parkinson disease, major memory/thinking or psychiatric problems, prior stroke bleeding or infarction problems, kidney disease needing dialysis, or severe heart failure)
