- Be at least 40 years old and live in Guangzhou
- Have not had a lung-cancer-related diagnosis or treatment in the past 5 years
- Have not had a chest CT scan in the past year
- Do not have major lung-cancer–related symptoms
- Be able to climb two flights of stairs without major breathing limits
