Who can take part

  • You have one of these blood cancers: acute leukemia (AML or ALL), or MDS, with high-risk features as defined by the study
  • You are planning a T-cell–depleted donor stem cell transplant (allogeneic HSCT)
  • You can receive the transplant based on general health and strength tests (Karnofsky/Lansky score at least 70)
  • Your body organs must work normally enough before conditioning (the pre-transplant chemotherapy)
  • Your donor must NOT be a matched sibling, matched cord blood (8/8), or a haploidentical donor
