Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 75 years old
  • Your rotator cuff tear is “degenerative” (wear-and-tear), not sudden from a recent injury
  • Your tear is full-thickness and about 3 to under 5 centimeters wide, and the surgeon believes it can be fully repaired
  • You were diagnosed with an MRI scan
  • You can give informed consent and understand the study information
  • You agree to use a human dermal patch (donor skin tissue) during repair
