Shoulder repair with tissue patch for large rotator cuff tears
Part of Injuries & trauma clinical trials.
This trial tests a new way to repair large rotator cuff tears using a tissue patch to help the tendon heal. It might offer a better option for people whose tears are hard to fix with standard surgery.

This study is looking at surgery to repair torn rotator cuff tendons in the shoulder. It may help reduce pain and improve shoulder function for patients with certain types of tears.
This study tests whether adding a patch to standard rotator cuff repair helps large tears heal better. It's for adults who need their first surgery for a tear involving at least two tendons.
This study tests a new surgical technique that uses your biceps tendon to help repair a large rotator cuff tear. It may be an option if you have not improved after at least 3 months of other treatments.
This trial compares two different ways to repair a large, repairable rotator cuff (shoulder tendon) tear. It may help you understand which surgical approach leads to better recovery after non-surgical treatments have already failed.
This trial studies a special patch placed during minimally invasive shoulder surgery to help heal full-thickness rotator cuff tears. It may help people whose tears are large or massive and who already tried non-surgical treatment without enough improvement.
This trial compares two surgeries for massive rotator cuff tears that are hard to repair: moving a nearby tendon to replace the torn one, or doing a partial repair. The goal is to see which gives better shoulder function and pain relief.
