- Your tendon has not pulled back too far (retraction score 3 or less)
- Your tendon muscle fat change is limited (fatty degeneration score 3 or less)
- Your surgeon thinks the tendon can be pulled back and reduced during surgery
- You can have a pre-surgery MRI scan
- You can read and complete the study questionnaires and outcome scores
