Nerve interface surgery to reduce hand pain nerve tumors

This trial tests a regenerative nerve device/surgery approach to reduce painful nerve growths (neuromas) after a finger or partial hand amputation. You may qualify if you’re an adult with confirmed, localized neuroma pain and have already tried a 6-week desensitization therapy plan.

Who can take part

  • You’re 18 years or older
  • You had an amputation of one hand or part of it (finger(s) or partial hand)
  • Your pain is coming from a specific, exam-confirmed painful neuroma in the digit/hand
  • You have tried standard treatment for numbness/desensitizing pain with a hand therapist for at least 6 weeks
  • You’re willing/able to give consent (trial staff must be able to consent with you)
