Who can take part
- You are 22 or older.
- You have had (or are scheduled to have) an arm amputation above the wrist.
- Your amputation happened at least 6 months ago, or you are planning an elective amputation because your hand no longer works.
- You are in generally good health and at low risk for surgery.
- You can attend at least 6 hours of study visits each month while the electrodes are in place.
- You have not used tobacco for at least 1 month before the study and agree not to use it during the study.
